Overview
IT Systems Engineer (Tier 1). A hands-on IT support specialist with strong technical skills, project implementation experience, and a passion for solving problems is sought by a dynamic team in Bellville to provide top-tier support across hardware, software, networking, and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Responding to and managing support tickets with precision and professionalism
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
- Participating in IT project implementations and client onboarding
- Handling escalations, major incidents, and root cause analysis
- Delivering exceptional customer service and clear technical communication
- Maintaining documentation, diagrams, and configuration records
- Providing on-site support and adhering to client protocols
Qualifications
Matric or NQF equivalentA+ and N+ (or equivalent)Microsoft MCSA or MCSE3+ years’ experience in IT support, field support, or service desk rolesProven experience in IT project implementation and client environment setupExperience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud-based servicesFamiliarity with ITIL and COBIT5 frameworks (certification is a plus)Valid driver’s license and reliable transportStrong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
