Salary : Up to R18,000 per month
About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HR Administrator to support the HR and recruitment function within a private care home agency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 - 2 years of HR or recruitment administration experience who is looking to grow their career in a supportive and purpose-driven environment.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth recruitment and onboarding experience for carers, as well as providing day-to-day HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Review and screen incoming CVs of carer applicants to ensure alignment with role requirements.
- Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Support pre-employment checks including references, right-to-work documentation, and DBS verifications.
- Assist with onboarding new hires, preparing offer letters, and ensuring completion of necessary documentation.
HR Administration
Maintain and update employee records in line with data protection regulations.Prepare HR-related correspondence such as contracts, letters, and amendments.Support with absence tracking, annual leave records, and basic HR reporting.Assist with compliance and audit preparation, ensuring all employee files are complete and accurate.Provide general administrative support to the HR team and management as needed.About You
1–2 years of experience in an HR or recruitment administration role (experience within healthcare or care settings is an advantage).Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Good working knowledge of MS Office and HR systems (experience with HRIS platforms is a plus).A team player with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in people operations and HR development.What’s in It for You
