REPORTING TO : Procurement Officer
Purpose : To buy goods and services in support of the operational requirements of the Company
Outputs & Measurements :
Responsibilities
- Converting of orders in compliance with purchasing procedure
- Evaluate quotations and negotiate discounts
- Saving on spend / price negotiations
- Investigate and action account queries promptly
- Order database maintenance
- Comply with all policies and procedures applicable on Procurement
Qualifications
Grade 12 with relevant post matric qualificationDiploma in Purchasing Management will be advantageousUnderstanding of procurement processesExposure to international procurement terms and conditions will be advantageousAt least 24 months experience in a Procurement environmentKnowledge of applicable commercial legislationStrong administrative skillsTechnical background and strong administrative skillsGood analytic skillsComputer Literacy- MS Office (with high proficiency in MS Excel)Good Verbal and written communication skillsBe proactive and service orientated and able to perform under high pressureInterested parties who meet the above requirements and possess the attributes stated may submit an internal application form as well as a comprehensive CV along with certified copies of their IDs and qualifications to :
