A leading fuel retail group is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the full operations of a busy service station — including the forecourt, convenience store, and in-store Coffee outlet.
This role requires a results‑driven individual with strong leadership, operational, and financial management skills to ensure the site runs smoothly, safely, and profitably. The successful candidate will provide overall coordination across all departments, working closely with the Convenience Manager and forecourt team to deliver operational excellence, compliance, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall Site Operations : Lead and coordinate all site activities, ensuring seamless interaction between the forecourt, convenience store, and Vida e Caffè operations.
- Staff Leadership & Scheduling : Manage and mentor a multi-level team through the Convenience Manager and forecourt supervisors, ensuring effective communication, scheduling, and performance management.
- Inventory & Stock Control : Oversee stock management, reconciliations, and periodic audits to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize losses.
- Sales & Target Achievement : Monitor sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to achieve site‑wide profitability targets.
- Customer Service Excellence : Promote and maintain exceptional service standards throughout all departments, ensuring all customer queries are resolved efficiently.
- Compliance & Safety : Serve as the primary compliance officer for health, safety, security, and environmental standards, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Financial Management & Reporting : Oversee site financials, including cash‑ups, reconciliations, and monthly reports for head office review.
- Merchandising & Promotions : Manage product presentation, in‑store marketing, and promotional activities to drive sales and maintain brand standards.
- Site Maintenance : Ensure that all equipment, facilities, and systems are well‑maintained and fully operational.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Liaise with franchise representatives, suppliers, and auditors to ensure operational alignment and site compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience : Minimum 5 years in fuel retail, convenience store, or related retail management. Experience managing a service station with a café or quick-service outlet will be advantageous.Leadership : Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, develop, and motivate teams.Customer Service : A customer‑centric mindset with a proven record of maintaining high service standards.Financial & Analytical Skills : Competence in budget management, sales reporting, and cost control.Technical Skills : Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experience with POS and inventory systems.#J-18808-Ljbffr
