Description :

Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced General Engineering Superintendent to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.

Responsibilities :

Oversee and manage both mechanical and electrical functions.

Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects.

Lead energy management and conservation initiatives.

Implement, monitor, and enforce safety standards and procedures.

Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.

Manage engineering maintenance planning and scheduling (asset management).

Oversee spare parts and sub-assembly management.

Prepare, monitor, and control engineering budgets and costs.

Foster effective working relationships with other departments.

Requirements :

Grade 12

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Valid Trade Test (Electrical or Mechanical)

5 years' experience within the mining industry.

2-3 years' experience on a supervisory level.

Valid Driver's License
