Are you passionate about driving people performance in pursuit of excellence? This role focuses on delivering occupationally directed education, training and development to Line Managers and employees to improve individual performance and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Translate legislative changes into relevant HR policies and practice.
- Ensure compliance with relevant HR legislation (Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, BBBEE Act, Skills Development Act, MIBCO Main Agreement, etc.).
- Participate in Employment Equity processes and awareness within the group.
- Support BBBEE initiatives, including skills elements within BBBEE.
- Assist Line Managers and Facilitators in identifying training needs and problem solving.
- Analyze individual development plans to identify training requirements.
- Consult with external suppliers and facilitators to define learning interventions as defined in the training strategy.
- Schedule staff for internal and external learning events in line with the learning and development strategy.
- Develop material for in-house training and facilitate internal training interventions.
- Gather information for learning communications and collate evaluations to improve programmes.
- Provide technical expertise on external industry committees and bodies.
- Prepare learning materials to a high standard and ensure delivery within agreed timescales.
- Maintain and update the learning and development calendar.
- Compile HR monthly reports and coordinate assessments and outcomes-based assessments.
- Administer, coordinate and maintain assessment records; coordinate Standards Based Assessments processes.
- Manage learners and learnerships through the SETA; contribute to the Workplace Skills Plan and assist with the Skills Development Levy (SDL) claim process; participate in programme planning within the SETA framework.
Qualifications
National Diploma in HR Management or relevant tertiary qualification in Education, Training & Development (ETD) (NQF Level 6).Minimum 2 to 3 years of operational experience in a similar role within the Automotive environment.Job Details
