Job description

This is an ideal opportunity, based in Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, if you are looking for a stable position, busy but not hectic and working from home on a Friday is a bonus. The company has a couple of different entities under the main company, and is looking to employ a strong financial candidate to assist with the financial side of the business (70%) and the rest will be administration.

Requirements :

Matric with Accounting / Finance qualification
Relevant Accounting experience
ZERO software a bonus

Duties :

Recording financial transactions (debits and credits)

Maintaining accurate ledgers and bank reconciliations

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

Preparing and submitting payroll

Tracking expenses and generating reports

Invoicing / Reconciliations / Management Accounts

Financial Reporting : Preparing financial statements - income statements, balance sheets and more

Analyzing financial data and providing reports to management

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Preparing and submitting tax forms

A deep understanding of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping and financial reporting

Accuracy and precision in financial record-keeping are crucial

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and keep records organized

Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends

Ability to identify and resolve issues related to financial records and office operations

General office management duties
