FA & A Analyst

Overview

Our UK-based client is an innovative technology solutions provider specialising in IoT, voice & data, cyber security, IT, cloud, and mobile services. They are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join the finance team. This role will play a pivotal part in driving financial insights, supporting strategic planning, and delivering robust analysis that enables business leaders to make informed decisions. This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support the company’s 3-year strategic plan.
• Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights into financial performance.
• Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across various departments (service delivery, customer retention, gross margin per service line, etc.).
• Build dashboards and reports to monitor performance trends and support data-driven decision-making.
• Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for strategic initiatives (new services, pricing changes, M&A opportunities).
• Provide financial input into board-level presentations and investor updates.
• Leverage financial systems (SAGE, Xero, QuickBooks) and BI tools to automate reporting and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and reporting packs to enhance efficiency.
