Overview
Our UK-based client is an innovative technology solutions provider specialising in IoT, voice & data, cyber security, IT, cloud, and mobile services. They are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join the finance team. This role will play a pivotal part in driving financial insights, supporting strategic planning, and delivering robust analysis that enables business leaders to make informed decisions. This is a remote position open to those living anywhere in South Africa.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support the company’s 3-year strategic plan.
- Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights into financial performance.
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across various departments (service delivery, customer retention, gross margin per service line, etc.).
- Build dashboards and reports to monitor performance trends and support data-driven decision-making.
- Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for strategic initiatives (new services, pricing changes, M&A opportunities).
- Provide financial input into board-level presentations and investor updates.
- Leverage financial systems (SAGE, Xero, QuickBooks) and BI tools to automate reporting and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and reporting packs to enhance efficiency.

Improved monthly reporting packs and KPI dashboards.Enhanced understanding of customer profitability, churn rates, and pipeline performance .Accurate and timely forecasting to support growth strategies.Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of 1 year’s experience in FP&A, preferably within a technology or MSP environment.Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP / financial systems is advantageous.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement approach.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Load Shedding
