Responsibilities
- Manage the entire quantity surveying process from inception to completion on multiple projects.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders.
- Evaluate tenders and negotiate contracts with service providers.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters and procurement strategies.
- Liaise with clients and project teams to ensure clear communication and expectations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Mentor and develop junior quantity surveying staff.
Requirements
BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying or a related field.Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP.Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Quantity Surveying field.Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and project management.Exceptional analytical and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Benefits
