Position : EPC proposals Specialist
Job Purpose
In collaboration with the Senior Manager : Products Sales & Marketing, assume responsibility for the hands on management, leadership and continuous improvement practices applied to the Products Internal Proposals department (decentralized team), thereby ensuring increased growth and profitability group of companies in the area of responsibility, utilizing a customer centric approach.
Provide Sales support to the Front-end sales teams, Agents, Resellers and Customers by managing and processing all Products related enquiries and RFQs, preparation of professional, fit-for-purpose Quotations, and the subsequent efficient processing of Customer Orders for hand-over to the P&L department.
Key Accountability and Responsibility
Leading by example through interactive and hands-on approach, manage the Products Internal Sales team
in the efficient processing of customer enquiries / RFQs, preparation of accurate & professional, fit-for-purpose quotations using CRM and the NMP quotation tool and subsequent processing of customer orders, in strict compliance with company internal systems & processes.
Optimize internal RFQ / Order handling processes, while coordinating the implementation and effective utilization of CRM and NMP internal systems.
Work closely with Product Specialists to establish mechanisms to ensure the most cost-effective, fit-for purpose application and instrument specification is proposed, while ensuring technical and commercial compliance in respect of customer / end-user requirements.
Organize and train Internal Sales resources to ensure maximum efficiency and redundancy (-to support rotational / stand-in requirement) in the following key areas :
i. Effective collaboration and teamwork among the decentralized and multi-skilled pool of Internal Sales resources.
ii. Effective front-end processing & acknowledgement of Enquiries / RFQs / Orders received (i.e. via Infobox, telephonic etc.).
iii. Accurate, compliant and timeous capturing of opportunities and customer / end-user registration procedures in CRM.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential :
1. National Higher Diploma in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or Process related discipline.
2. Technical Sales / Support experience from an Internal Sales supervisory position with a similarly positioned Instrumentation vendor.
3. At least 3 years of experience within the Process Control and Instrumentation Sales industry.
