Join us in our mission to provide quality products, value, and service to our customers every day.Purpose of the RoleThe purpose of a Delivery Driver Assistant is to support the delivery team by assisting in delivering products to customers, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries.

This includes presenting and obtaining signatures on Proof of Delivery documents, assisting with invoice corrections, verifying payments when applicable, and supporting in loading and unloading products.

Your role contributes to efficient delivery operations, customer satisfaction, and proper documentation and record-keeping.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the driver in safely transporting and delivering products to customer locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Present Proof of Delivery (POD) documents to customers, obtain signatures, and accurately record delivery information.Help complete invoice correction forms when necessary to resolve discrepancies promptly.Verify customer payments, such as cash or checks, following established procedures, and ensure proper documentation.Support in loading and unloading products, following safety protocols to prevent damage or loss.Interact courteously and professionally with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving minor issues to ensure a positive experience.Assist with navigation and route planning using maps or GPS to optimize delivery efficiency.Help maintain accurate inventory records, including documenting returned or damaged products and reporting discrepancies.Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.Ensure the safekeeping of stock during delivery and overnight routes.Support in maintaining organized delivery documentation for record-keeping and audits.Adhere to safety guidelines and use PPE as required.Promote a safe work environment and comply with safety standards.Contribute to the achievement of team goals through collaboration and support.
