Duties :
Oversee all hotel departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and front office, to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Develop and manage budgets, forecast revenue, analyse financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures to meet financial targets.
Cultivate positive relationships with guests, address inquiries, and proactively resolve issues to enhance the guest experience and satisfaction.
Recruit, train, and supervise staff, providing coaching and feedback to maintain high service standards and foster a positive work environment.
Maintain high standards of product and service quality, conduct regular inspections, and implement procedures for consistency.
Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
Coordinate maintenance schedules and oversee renovations or capital improvements to the property as well as new building projects / expansion.
Ensure the hotel adheres to all health, safety, and legal standards and licensing laws.
Requirements : Grade 12
A formal hospitality qualification essential
At least 10 years experience in leading a mid-sized high-end hotel
Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
Excellent guest service and problem-solving abilities.
Sound financial acumen and budget management skills.
Marketing and sales strategy development.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proven experience in hotel management, ideally in a boutique or luxury setting.
Experience in food and beverage management
Strong understanding of hospitality operations and financial management.
