Purpose Statement
To develop and coordinate risk management programs and frameworks, providing subject matter expertise to ensure high-quality risk management outcomes. To identify, analyse, and measure risks, making accurate risk mitigation recommendations to protect the organisation against potential losses.

8yrs+ experience within Risk Management in a large organizational unit preferably in a financial institution or bankKnowledge Minimum :
Risk Control and KnowledgeUnderstanding of key business processes and functions and an understanding of key risks in these areasPrinciples for sound management of riskRisk and Control Self-AssessmentsGovernance and Risk Management principlesInternal risk metrics and approachesReport writingRisk Manager Payments
Experience Ideal
8yrs+ experience within Risk Management in a large organizational unit preferably in a financial institution or bank specifically within payments or payment system operatorKnowledge Ideal :
Legislation and regulation and the implications thereof on the payment industryUnderstand Interbank clearing environmentPayment clearing rules, directives, principles and reconsFinancial payment processes and systems and the interface thereofRisks associated with product life cycle of payments (Merchant, Acquiring, Issuer)Qualifications (Minimum)
A relevant post-graduate qualification in Risk and Compliance or LawSkills
