Role Description
We are seeking an exceptionally driven and results-focused Business Development Representative to spearhead our new business growth in Gauteng and Pretoria.
The core objective is to hunt for new commercial opportunities, convert them into clients, and build long-term key accounts. This role is not focused on existing customers or residential clients. The right candidate will hit the ground running, actively seek out opportunities, and put in the exceptional effort required to deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Aggressively hunt for and develop new commercial business opportunities in Gauteng & Pretoria.
- Target medium-to-large businesses, property managers, contractors, and industrial clients.
- Convert new business opportunities into long-term, profitable key accounts.
- Conduct site visits, align solutions to specific site requirements, prepare professional proposals, and negotiate deals.
- Maintain structured reporting, pipeline management, and activity tracking in the company’s CRM system.
- Continuously deliver against ambitious sales targets in a high-performance environment.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years’ experience in new business development .At least 5 years’ experience in the waterproofing, coatings, construction, property market or related industry .Preference will be given to candidates with existing networks with construction companies, facilities management companies, building management bodies and property developers.Proven track record of hunting for new business and consistently exceeding sales targets .Highly motivated, resilient, and results-oriented personality.Computer literate – proficient in MS Office ; experience with CRM systems and other business tools advantageous. Clear and confident communicator and skilled relationship builder and networker.Valid driver’s licenseMin Matric - tertiary qualification advantageousWhat We Offer
