About the Role
Jones Road Beauty is seeking a highly organized and creatively attuned Creative Digital Asset Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and asset management of all brand photo and video shoots. This role supports a fast-moving in-house creative team and ensures seamless production of bi-monthly large-scale campaign shoots as well as weekly content creation for social, ads, and product launches.
This person will be responsible for managing both pre-production and post-production processes, working cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and product teams, and maintaining a clean, accessible archive of all visual assets. You’ll be integral to turning creative vision into organized, executed reality—on time and on brand.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Production & Creative Planning
- Own end-to-end shoot preparation across campaigns, social, and ad content
- Develop pre-production decks that clearly communicate the creative vision, shot structure, and production flow
- Create mood boards and shot lists in collaboration with the Creative Director
- Source and manage casting for models and talent; maintain a database of go-to talent
- Oversee styling logistics, including wardrobe pulls and coordination with stylists
- Coordinate prop sourcing, studio setups, and creative materials
- Manage shoot scheduling, call sheets, location scouting, and vendor coordination
On-Set Production Management
Troubleshoot issues in real time and act as the go-to point of contact for photographers, stylists, talent, and internal team membersEnsure shoot deliverables are properly documented and organized for post-productionPost-Production & Asset Delivery
Review and narrow down image selects in partnership with the Creative DirectorManage retouching workflows and quality control for all final imagesDeliver assets to internal stakeholders in correct formats and timelinesTag, name, and organize assets in the digital asset management (DAM) system for long-term useMaintain a visual archive of campaign, e-commerce, and social content for internal and external sharingRequirements
What You’ll Bring
3–5+ years of experience in creative production, studio management, or asset operationsStrong project management skills and a proven ability to juggle multiple shoots and deadlinesExperience with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, Digital Asset Management systems (such as Air, Dropbox, or equivalent), and production tools (such as Asana, notion, etc.)Understanding of licensing, talent rights, and digital content usage standardsSharp attention to detail, especially in file management and metadata organizationProactive problem solver and clear communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environmentPassion for content, creativity, and operational excellenceStrong visual and written communication skills, with a great eye for on-brand aesthetics and compelling storytellingOrganizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneouslyA passion for beauty, content, and culture—and an ability to stay on top of what’s trending
