Job Overview

Mascor Greytown is looking for a Sales Manager to lead and manage the sales team across both new and used vehicle departments. The role requires driving sales performance, ensuring excellent customer service, implementing effective sales strategies, managing stock, and maintaining compliance with Toyota and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the new and used vehicle sales teams to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for new and used vehicles.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Manage lead generation, showroom traffic, and conversion rates.
- Oversee the entire sales process from enquiry to delivery.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure a balanced stock of fast-moving and aged vehicles.
- Coordinate with the Dealer Principal and OEM (Toyota SA) on vehicle ordering and allocation.
- Ensure accurate and timely vehicle display, pricing, and marketing.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain high levels of customer retention and loyalty.
- Provide detailed sales reports, forecasts, and KPI tracking to dealership management.
- Ensure compliance with all Toyota SA policies, POPIA, FAIS, and F&I regulations.
- Work closely with the F&I department to ensure ethical and compliant finance deal structures.

Grade 12 (Matric) – essentialTertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or related field – advantageousValid South African driver’s licenseMinimum 3–5 years’ experience in vehicle sales management (preferably in a franchised dealership)Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teamsExperience with both new and used vehicle operationsKnowledge of Toyota product range and systems – advantageousSkills & Competencies
