Job descriptionProven experience as a Technical Buyer or Procurement Specialist in a technical / engineering environment. Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Engineering
Key Responsibilities :
- Source, evaluate, and purchase technical materials, components, and equipment.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Analyse technical specifications to ensure product compatibility and quality.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for long-term collaboration.
- Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
- Liaise with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet operational requirements.
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
