About the Role
You’ll be the commercial spearhead for a leading courier and road-freight business, focused on identifying prospects, shaping compelling value propositions, and converting opportunities into sustainable revenue. The role is laser-focused on securing new customers and smashing sales targets, with a strong emphasis on understanding client operations and negotiating win-win agreements.

The organisation invests in robust processes, compliance, and technology to deliver reliable, time-critical distribution for diverse sectors, including regulated healthcare supply chains.
What You’ll Do
Identify and qualify new business leads; systematically build and manage a high-quality pipeline.
Deep-dive into each prospect’s operations to pinpoint where our solutions create measurable value.
Drive the full sales cycle—outreach, meetings, proposals, and closing—to meet and exceed targets.
Negotiate rates and terms aligned with pricing strategy and industry standards.
Complete required documentation and admin to a high standard and on time; maintain CRM hygiene.
Partner with operations to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
Maintain KYC data accurately and compliantly.
What You Bring
5+ years’ sales experience in logistics / road freight with a proven record of closing.
Matric; a diploma in sales / marketing / business is advantageous.
Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and confidence working in CRM.
Core strengths in negotiation, relationship building, planning, and time management.
Commercial curiosity, resilience under pressure, and a goal-driven, proactive mindset.
Comfort operating within quality and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SAHPRA GDP / GDocP in healthcare logistics).

New logos signed at margin-appropriate rates with clear, deliverable SLAs.
Positive client onboarding feedback and seamless handover to service teams.
