Junior Accountant & Personal Assistant to the General Manager

Job descriptionAssist with daily financial transactions, including accounts payable / receivable, invoicing, cash books, journals and bank reconciliations. Prepare financial reports and summaries as directed by management. Maintain accurate records of financial documents and data entry in accounting software. Support monthly closing processes and internal audits. Reconcile supplier and customer statements. Provide support during budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide administrative and organisational support to the General Manager. Manage the GMs calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements. Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points. Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, and documentation. Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Liaise with internal departments on behalf of the GM. Exposure to both accounting and executive-level operations. Requirements :
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of relevant accounting or administrative experience preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
- Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and work under pressure.
- Professional demeanour and ability to maintain confidentiality.
