OM Bank - Intermediate UX Designer

Overview

OM Bank - Intermediate UX Designer role at Old Mutual South Africa. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate User Experience (UX) Designer to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will design seamless and innovative digital banking experiences for a mobile platform with a customer-centred approach in all design elements.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, to create intuitive, accessible, and engaging user interfaces that meet the bank's strategic objectives.

Key Result Areas

• Design Execution : Create high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes for digital banking applications. Ensure designs align with the bank's brand guidelines and digital standards.
• User Testing : Assist in planning usability tests and other design research activities. Incorporate user feedback and iterate designs to enhance user experience and satisfaction.
• Collaboration : Work closely with product owners, developers, and other team members to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately. Participate in agile development processes and stand-ups.
• Innovation : Stay abreast of UX trends, tools, and technologies. Propose innovative design solutions that enhance user experience and drive digital banking forward.
• Mentorship : Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow in their UX design skills.
