Point of Sale Specialist - Springfiled

Overview

PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION : To manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently, on the POS system. Receiving payments and issuing receipts, gift-wrapping packages, and keeping track of all cash and credit transactions. Ensure all sale and refund transactions run smoothly and will help maximize customer satisfaction.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Collect payments whether in cash or credit.
• Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets.
• Redeem coupons and vouchers.
• Cross-sell products and introduce new ones.
• Sell add-ons to customers to increase UPT.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.
• Driving CRM and NPS as a last point for customer contact in store.
• Replenishment of sales floor.
