Technical Spraybooth Supervisor

Job descriptionOperate, start, and stop spraybooth machinery using levers, buttons, dials, and switches Monitor and adjust paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality using visual inspections or viscometers Attach hoses / nozzles, regulate air pressure, conveyor speeds, and spray flow for optimal coverage Inspect gauges and equipment to detect defects or deviations and make corrections Prepare and spray surfaces with primers, decorative, or finish coatings Identify and correct flaws such as blisters or streaks during painting operations Disassemble, clean, and reassemble spray equipment using appropriate solvents and tools Dispose of hazardous waste safely and in compliance with regulations
The position requires hands-on spraybooth operation, team supervision, and strong technical ability in a fast-paced
production environment.

Philippi, Western Cape onsite, full time
Requirements :
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 35 years experience as a Spraybooth Technician, Technical Supervisor, or similar manufacturing / production role
- PLC knowledge and general computer skills (training on specific machines provided)
- Strong mechanical / technical capabilities
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is advantageous
- Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt quickly
- Own reliable transport
