Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification
- RE5 certification is advantageous
- FAIS compliant with the required credits
- 2–3 years of proven experience as a Broker Consultant within the short‑term insurance sector
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable personal transport
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM platforms, and quoting software
- In‑depth understanding of short‑term insurance products and industry standards
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken)
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and analytical mindset
- Highly self‑driven, able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities
Duties and Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, financial advisers, and key stakeholders.Drive new business acquisition while ensuring the retention and growth of existing broker portfolios.Provide comprehensive support to brokers, including assistance with client claims, policy amendments, general enquiries, and administrative tasks related to personal and commercial short‑term insurance.Manage the efficient processing of annual policy renewals for short‑term insurance clients.Keep brokers informed of product updates, regulatory changes, and industry developments.Ensure full compliance with FAIS, FICA, POPIA, and all other applicable legislation and regulatory requirements.Serve as the key liaison between the company and brokers, as well as between brokers and their clients, to uphold a high standard of service delivery.#J-18808-Ljbffr
