Introduction
Responsible for dispatching finished products and ensuring timely shipping of every order, while also focusing on final product quality and customer satisfaction standards. Planning and controlling of daily distribution tasks.
- Creates delivery notes and ensures correct product, quantity, and client information.
- Ensures that any special instructions as per customers’ requirements are noted and adhered to.
- Plans local, export, and long-distance loads as per loading schedule.
- Provides continuous feedback to Sales on early / late deliveries.
- Ensures accurate and timely capturing of dispatch control sheets for dispatching.
- Responsible for capturing returns on the credit book and reporting to Inventory Controller and Distribution Manager.
Minimum Requirements
Matric Certificate / diploma in Supply Chain Management or similar field.System knowledge (JDE & App share).Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, or similar.Excellent knowledge of inventory management software.Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices, i.e., inventory management and cycle counting.Knowledge of ISO & SHERQ requirements.#J-18808-Ljbffr
