Fleet Controller

We are seeking to employ a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Controller. Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the position of Fleet Controller based in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni. This position reports directly to the Fleet Manager. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and smooth running of the fleet operations.

The candidate will provide adequate support through planning and implementing an effective internal control system pertaining to Fleet management, following all procedures and processes as per company policies as well as those of the Fleet Manager.

The person will be required to deal with complexity in a fast-paced environment. Needs to be a self-starter with attention to detail and bring a positive energy to the work environment, with a willingness to excel in their role. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, as well as legislative requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities

Asset Management :

• Manage and oversee the fleet assets within the Company ensuring optimal utilization and fuel efficiency.
• Monitor and report on daily diesel consumption, taking corrective actions for unacceptable levels.
• Monitor and report on driver behavior, utilizing the fleet telematics systems in place, and take necessary action to address incorrect behavior on a regional level.
