Job Advert Summary

HR Business Partnering to a number of dealerships within the Western Cape. The role develops and directs implementation of HR plans, policies, and processes affecting employee relations within the assigned dealerships. The incumbent is accountable for advice and recommendations, as well as for the coordination and support of employee lifecycle and business effectiveness and administration. Providing day to day guidance as well as operational and strategic talent support to management and employees of the dealerships allocated to your support services.

Minimum Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources / Labour Law or Industrial Psychology

Minimum 4 years’ experience in managing all aspects of HR

Experience in a fast-paced environment (motor industry or similar preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft MS programs

Working knowledge of VIP / SAGE Payroll / or similar HRIS and ATS experience

Fluent in English and Afrikaans

Clear criminal record

Valid drivers licence

Accuracy in execution and reliability in meeting set deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

Partner with operational business units to understand strategic objectives and align HR delivery accordingly.

Manage the full HR lifecycle.

Act as an advisor to operational leadership, promoting sound people management.

Talent acquisition and recruitment aligned with operational workforce plans.

On-boarding and induction processes to ensure early employee engagement.

Facilitation of off-boarding processes, including exit interviews and analysis to inform retention strategies.

Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary procedures, grievances, incapacity cases, and conflict resolution.

Support succession planning and talent management initiatives to build operational leadership capacity.

Monitor, report, and analyse key HR metrics and trends to support strategic decision-making.

Ensure HR compliance and governance through effective documentation, audits, and statutory reporting.

Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and compliance with applicable labour legislation.

Lead or contribute to change management and organisational development initiatives.

Strong HR operational and administrative experience

Proven ability to manage employee relations and workplace investigations

A hands-on, structured approach to HR execution and compliance

Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and process-driven mindset

Experience in the automotive industry is a prerequisite
