Key Performance Areas
Chemical Stock Room Management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free chemical storage area at all times.
- Unpack and store incoming chemical stock in designated areas following proper stock rotation practices.
- Ensure detergents and other chemicals are stored securely and safely.
- Accurately record all stock received and manage documentation of returned empty containers.
- Track and document detergent issues to internal departments including Stock Tanks, Spotting Room, Guest Laundry, Garments, and Hospitality.
- Conduct weekly stock counts and submit reports to the company s management.
In-Plant Chemical Handling (Mixing Tanks, Drums)
Perform daily inspections to ensure chemical mixing tanks and dosing pumps are fully operational; report faults and conduct basic repairs where possible.Monitor stock levels in chemical supply tanks; mix and transfer stock solutions to holding tanks as needed.Inspect and replenish chemical levels in 200L and 25L drums regularly.Maintain high standards of housekeepingdispose of empty bags and place empty drums in designated cages for collection.Always adhere to Health & Safety regulations and use PPE where applicable.Clean chemical mixing tanks weekly and ensure dosing equipment is wiped and cleaned regularly.Test and record the alkalinity of stock solutions after each mix.Inspect all chemical lines frequently for signs of wear, leakage, or damage, and replace where necessary.Flow Rate & Alkalinity Monitoring
Check and record flow rates of chemical diaphragm and peristaltic pumps monthly; report any deviations from required standards immediately.Conduct pH and alkalinity readings on incoming recycled water three times daily and maintain records.Perform daily alkalinity tests on CBW systems (Garment & Hospitality) and weekly tests on 200kg Milnors; report any deviations.Monthly monitoring of flow rates and alkalinity for Guest Laundry and small washer extractors; replace worn tubes as necessary.General Quality Assurance
Continuously monitor the quality of washed linen and garments throughout the plant and report abnormalities.Ensure machine operators are using the correct wash programs based on classification.Conduct and record regular Reflectometer readings on processed linen.Represent the company professionally with respect, honesty, and dedication when engaging with clients and staff.Ad Hoc Duties
Support off-site technical tasks and installations as required.Assist with additional operational responsibilities as assigned by management.Personal Attributes

Hands-on, practical approach with a willingness to work alongside team members.Experience in installation and maintenance of laundry chemical dosing systems.Skilled in programming laundry machines and installing dishwashing chemical dosing units.Knowledge of maintenance and repair of industrial dishwashing machines.Excellent attention to detail with a curiosity to explore and analyze technical data.Valid drivers license and access to reliable transport.Computer Literacy
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Familiar with virtual collaboration tools such as MS Teams and Zoom.
