Groups & Incentives Relief Consultant – Luxury Property Group | Sandton
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a detail-orientated and proactive Groups & Incentives Relief Consultant to join a leading luxury property group based in Sandton . This role is ideal for an experienced travel professional with strong organisational skills, a passion for exceptional service delivery, and the ability to manage complex itineraries and group logistics.

Salary : Negotiable, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the workload of assigned consultants during periods of absence (annual leave, illness, or training).
Handle re-quotes, proposals, and operations management for ongoing client bookings.
Assist with the development and coordination of agent and hosted educational bookings in collaboration with the Sales team.
Support the implementation and testing of systems and operational procedures.
Follow up on provisional bookings and revisit lapsed or dead leads during quieter periods.
Assist with loading bookings and administrative tasks during peak periods.
Support Small Group Journey coordination and logistics.
Contribute to supplier and product sourcing to enhance the creativity and diversity of the department’s offerings.
Occasionally accompany groups on travel assignments to support operations.
Knowledge & Expertise
Strong understanding of the tourism industry, including travel channels, destination management, and customer expectations.
Solid knowledge of Southern and East Africa, with the ability to provide informed recommendations.
Understanding of commercial strategy, business acumen, and decision-making principles.
Familiarity with terms, conditions, and market dynamics relevant to the luxury travel industry.
Basic understanding of crisis management protocols, including risk mitigation and emergency response.
Proficiency in Tourplan , Wetu , and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) advantageous.

Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 3–5 years’ previous inbound tour consulting experience .
Previous experience in luxury travel, groups, or incentives consulting will be highly advantageous.
