Growth Marketing & Business Development Manager

About the Role

We’re hiring a proactive, analytical, and highly organised Sales assistant to support our sales and marketing engine. This role blends AI-powered business development, content creation, admin organisation, and early-stage client interaction. You’ll work closely with the founder and sales team to execute outreach campaigns, qualify leads, and keep our revenue operations running smoothly.

Business Development, Marketing, and Operational Responsibilities

Business Development Support

  • Set up and manage outbound campaigns using our AI-driven workflow tools.
  • Write high-quality copy for prospecting messages, outreach sequences, and testing.
  • Research, segment, and build prospect lists for targeted campaigns.
  • Track and report performance data, offering insights and optimisation ideas.

Marketing & Content

  • Write marketing emails, newsletters, and supporting content for campaigns.
  • Edit short‑form videos for LinkedIn and social platforms.
  • Create and schedule LinkedIn posts, including thought‑leadership, stories, and commercial content.
  • Create simple visuals or layouts using Canva or similar design tools.
  • Client Interaction

  • Conduct intro or discovery calls to qualify businesses and assess fit.
  • Build simple websites, landing pages, and audience tests using V0 (Vercel).
  • Create sales decks and proposals (Canva) and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate deal management in HubSpot with spotless pipelines.
  • Manage sales team diaries, scheduling calls, and supporting time management.
  • Events & Community

  • Support organising events, webinars, and CRM Leaders Club sessions.
  • Coordinate invites, logistics, follow‑ups, and supporting materials.
  • Assist with event promotion across newsletters and social platforms.
  • Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in business development, sales support, or marketing operations.
  • Strong understanding of AI tools, automation, and workflow systems.
  • Excellent written English, clear, persuasive, and brand‑aligned.
  • Highly analytical : confident in measuring campaigns, interpreting data, and making optimisation recommendations.
  • Confident using HubSpot for CRM management.
  • Experience creating content for LinkedIn, including copy and video.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders remotely.
  • Comfortable on client‑facing calls with a warm, professional manner.
  • Basic familiarity with no‑code or low‑code tools is a plus.

    Monday – Friday  : 8 : 00 – 17 : 00 (GMT) / 10 : 00 – 19 : 00 (SAST).

    Pay and Benefits

  • Salary Range : ZAR 25,000 – 33,000 per month
