Job Title : Junior Accountant (Part-Time)

Location : Fully Remote (Office based in Strand, Cape Town)

About the Role

Are you starting your career in accounting and looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity? My client is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks. This role is perfect for someone with a solid educational foundation in accounting who is eager to learn and grow while working remotely.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification : BCom, BCompt, BAcc degree, or Diploma in Accounting (completed or in progress)
• Professional Experience : 1–2 years’ accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Technical Skills : Basic experience with accounting software such as Sage exposure to payroll systems like SimplePay is an advantage
• Tax Knowledge : Some understanding of VAT and personal tax will be helpful, but not essential (training and support available)
• Language Proficiency : Fluent in Afrikaans and English
