Minimum requirements :
- Bachelors degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
- 8+ years HR generalist experience, including at least 6 years in a managerial role in a multi-operation environment.
- Strong knowledge of South African labour law and proven industrial relations expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to lead HR strategy, compliance, and people development initiatives.
- Resilient, pragmatic, and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to influence senior leadership effectively.
Duties will include but is not limited to :
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent management initiatives to attract, retain, and develop quality talent.Oversee performance management processes, including annual reviews, bonus allocations, and KPA alignment across the Group.Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation, manage industrial relations, CCMA preparations, and employee equity reporting.Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with business objectives.Manage HR departmental budgets effectively.Plan and deliver training and development programmes in collaboration with the Training Department.Supervise and mentor a team of 6 HR staff : 3 HR Specialists, 2 HR Assistants, and 1 Employee Relations Officer.Act as an HR system superuser, ensuring optimal system utilization across the Group.Please note : Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
