Social Media Coordinator

Join a leading global non-profit organization in the medical field as a Social Media Coordinator based in Cape Town, where you'll play a vital role in raising awareness and educating the public about blood stem cell donation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage community engagement across platforms by responding to queries and addressing concerns.
• Create relevant content to meet the needs and concerns of the community.
• Conceptualize, create, and publish engaging digital content.
• Coordinate interviews with patients, donors, and stakeholders for storytelling.
• Assist in influencer and brand partnership activities.
• Attend donor drives and stakeholder events to shoot content and provide support.
• Support the rollout of local content for international social media campaigns.
• Write and manage patient and donor content.
• Assist with budgeting and other ad hoc activities.

REQUIREMENTS

Appointment will be made in line with the organization's Employment Equity Plan. Preference will be given to Coloured and African males; however, applications from all designated groups are encouraged.

The proposed salary range is R30,000 - R35,000 per month, with the final offer depending on qualifications, skills, and experience.
