Technical Sales Representative Refractories & Refineries (JB5595) Germiston, Gauteng Market-Related basic Commission Permanent Drive sales growth and support key accounts within the refractory and refinery sectors across Southern Africa. This role combines technical knowledge and sales ability to position raw material solutions in high-temperature environments such as steel, cement, and petrochemical industries. The successful candidate will manage a territory, consult on product application, and act as a trusted advisor to industrial clients. Minimum Requirements : A relevant Diploma / Degree 35 years experience as a Technical Sales Representative in Refractories, Refineries, Petrochemical, or Heavy Industrial sectors Solid knowledge of refractory materials and high-temperature industrial processes Existing industry network (steel, cement, petrochemical, non-ferrous sectors) advantageous Valid drivers license, own vehicle and willingness to travel regularly Excellent communication and technical presentation skills Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Germiston, Gauteng Duties and Responsibilities : Grow sales and manage a defined territory within the refractory / refinery sector Maintain and build long-term relationships with industrial clients Conduct client site visits for technical support and troubleshooting Provide material recommendations based on application needs Manage full sales cycle : lead generation, quoting, negotiation, closing Monitor market activity, competitor trends, and new technologies Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service and delivery Submit accurate reports and forecasts using CRM tools Please do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.
