Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager to oversee the daily operations of a luxury safari lodge. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest operational and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Drive an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures across departments.
• Manage budgets, stock control, and financial reporting.
• Oversee maintenance schedules to ensure lodge infrastructure and equipment are in excellent condition.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Foster strong relationships with guests, staff, suppliers, and local stakeholders.
• Support conservation and sustainability initiatives within the lodge and surrounding reserve.

Requirements : Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management, ideally in a safari or luxury lodge environment. Strong leadership, people management, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and administrative ability. Financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control. Knowledge of conservation principles and sustainable lodge practices advantageous Ability to work in a remote environment with flexibility and resilience. Hospitality or tourism qualification beneficial.
