Job Purpose
Administrates and co‑ordinates day‑to‑day activities of the bid office and provides support to tender preparation and submissions associated with bid documentation. Responsible for quality proposal / Bids documents and responding to inbound leads, in order to allow the business to respond more promptly to potential customers.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Advantage)
- Additional certifications / professional registration (e.g. tendering, procurement, supply chain, APMP) (Advantage)
Required Experience
7‑10 Years’ Experience working in Admin with complex tenders & Large Volume of Paperwork7 Years Administration of New Bid / Tenders (Start to Finish)Analyzing the Tender Evaluation Criteria and Compliance.Experience within the electrical, engineering or construction industryRequired Knowledge
Excellent writing and proof‑reading skills with an eye for detailRelevant software application (MS Office Suite)Legible / Neat HandwritingBasic electrical engineering principlesUnderstanding of the end-to-end bid processStrong document control and versioning knowledgeRequired Competencies
