Logistics Administrator - Maitland, Cape Town - Salary R22 000
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee outgoing and incoming deliveries to ensure efficient logistics and customer satisfaction.
- Liaise with internal departments (Production, Sales, Health & Safety) to align delivery and production schedules.
- Manage logistics personnel and monitor compliance with company policies (safety, hygiene, timekeeping).
- Operate and oversee use of vehicles (incl. forklifts and delivery vehicles); ensure vehicle maintenance, fuel use, and mileage logs are maintained.
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute delivery documentation including delivery notes, tax invoices, and stock reports using Microsoft Excel , Pastel Accounting , and other systems.
- Handle third-party courier coordination and cost-effective route planning.
- Assist with stock takes, manage inventory movements, and oversee raw material storage.
- Support and act as BRC Contingency for logistics documentation, invoicing, and system updates.
