Business Segment : Corporate & Investment Banking

Location : ZA, GP, Johannesburg, 30 Baker Street

Manage a portfolio of counterparty credit risks associated with lending, trading, and investing activities, with the primary objective of assessing and managing risk within acceptable parameters.

Qualifications

Degree : Business, Commerce, Risk Management, or Finance (Minimum)

Additional Information

Experience Required :

• 1-2 years experience with thorough conceptual and practical knowledge of credit procedures, policies, and standards . Ability to understand products and facilities that give rise to counterparty credit risk and document these risks appropriately. Understanding of risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• 1-2 years basic understanding of Investment Banking vanilla lending and derivative products, including documentation required to manage credit risk.
• 1-2 years knowledge of financial markets, the global economy, and regional geographies relevant to the portfolio.
• Key skills include : Checking things, conveying self-confidence, developing expertise, examining information, following procedures.
