Human Resources Manager

Duties and responsibilities :

• Serve as an active member of the Exco, contributing to organizational strategy and decision-making.
• Champion the company culture, values, and integrity across all levels of the business.
• Advise the CEO and Board on HR, transformation, compliance, and people-related matters.
• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process : advertising, sourcing, interviewing, referencing, and background checks, and onboarding / induction.
• Ensure full compliance with South African labour laws, including MIBCO regulations and Workmens Compensation.
• Ensure a positive work environment through proactive employee relations, address grievances, mediate disputes, and manage disciplinary processes
• Oversee Employment Equity and BBBEE compliance, ensuring diversity and inclusion goals are achieved.
• Ensure accurate payroll administration, compliance with statutory requirements, oversee time and attendance management, leave processing, and UIF documentation.
• Implement engagement strategies including surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
• Develop and implement training and development programs aligned with business needs.
• Manage learnerships, internships, and upskilling opportunities in line with BBBEE and EE goals.
