Senior Manager Integrated Media Planning
Key Responsibilities
Functional Strategy Formation : Lead the development and implementation of the Media and Channel Integration strategy, ensuring alignment with wider corporate strategy.
Leadership and Direction : Communicate actions needed to implement the strategy and brand plans; inspire commitment across teams.
Marketing : Oversee effective creation, implementation, and maintenance of Media and Channel Integration strategies to achieve ROI and brand presence.
Budgeting & Costing : Manage and optimise budgets to deliver against business objectives.
Brand : Ensure integration of A&G, Virseker & Partnerships media strategy with the overall brand strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement : Manage stakeholders up to C-suite level, leading engagement plans and collaboration with Marketing Managers.
Customer Relationship Management : Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
Contract Management : Oversee media buying and partner relationships; negotiate service-level agreements.
Continuous Improvement : Implement innovation processes and stay up to date with media market developments.
Performance Management : Lead a diverse team, set objectives, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions.
Digital Marketing Capabilities : Contribute to the digital marketing roadmap, enablement strategies, and capability building.
Education
Grade 12 / SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)
Relevant 3-year Business-related degree / diploma in Commerce, Marketing, Media, or Advertising (Essential)
Experience
8-10 years experience in Media or Channel Strategy environment (Essential)
Experience in financial services (Advantageous)
3-4 years management experience (Essential)
