Job Description
Red Ember Recruitment is seeking to hire HR administrator to be based at our client in Goodwood.
- Maintain employee records (digital and physical)
- Assist with drafting and issuing employee contracts, letters, and other documentation.
- Ensure all employee data is accurately captured and updated on the HR system.
- Support payroll input and monthly HR reports.
- Assist with advertising vacancies, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews.
- Prepare onboarding documentation and coordinate new hire inductions.
- Conduct reference and background checks.
- Support HR Manager in disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Record and maintain accurate notes during hearings and meetings.
- Assist with staff queries and communication.
- Help coordinate performance appraisal processes.
- Track probation reviews and training plans.
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with relevant labour legislation.
- Support policy implementation and staff awareness sessions.
- Assist with training logistics, attendance tracking, and feedback reports.
- Support in maintaining the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and ATR submissions.
Requirements
National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.2 years’ experience in a generalist HR support role.Working knowledge of South African Labour Legislation.Exposure with HR systems or ESS portals an advantage.Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong organisational and communication skills.Professional and trustworthy.Team player with strong interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.Exposure to payroll systems such as Sage 300.Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.Requirements
