Key Responsibilities Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering :
- Engage business units (Procurement, Sales, Finance, Operations) to understand and document business processes and pain points.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Develop use cases, user stories, process maps, and data flow diagrams.
- Analyse and model current vs. future state processes to identify automation and optimization opportunities.
Technical and Systems Analysis :
Evaluate and document integration needs across ERP, BI, WMS, and cloud platforms.Collaborate with developers and systems architects to design feasible, scalable solutions.Validate system designs against business requirements.Project Management :
Support or lead IT project planning and execution, including scoping, scheduling, and budgeting.Manage small-to-medium sized IT initiatives end-to-end (e.g., reporting dashboards, workflow automations, system enhancements).Track progress, manage risks / issues, and report on milestones.Work with external vendors and internal teams to coordinate deliverables.Testing and Quality Assurance :
Define test scenarios, coordinate UAT, and validate outputs against expected outcomes.Work with QA resources to ensure issues are logged, tracked, and resolvedChange Management and Support :
Support training and onboarding of users to new systems and processes.Act as a subject matter expert for implemented tools and platforms.Develop documentation, SOPs, and support guides.Educational :
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.Project management certification (Agile, PMP, PRINCE2) is a strong plus.Experience :
35+ years in business analysis or systems analysis within IT environments.Experience in managing or coordinating technical projects.Familiarity with ERP systems, databases, APIs, and BI / reporting tools.Technical and Soft Skills :
Proficient in requirements gathering and documentation (BPMN / UML / BRD formats).Strong SQL / data analysis skills or exposure to tools like Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau.Good understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC, Agile).Confident stakeholder engagement and presentation abilities.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
