POSITION INFO :

A well-established company specialising in valve and automation solutions is looking for a results-driven Technical Sales Representative to join their Gauteng-based team. This role is all about strategic selling into the mining sector , with a specific focus on territories including Zambia, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, and Botswana . If you're technically minded, commercially sharp, and ready to travel—this one’s for you.

Non-Negotiable Requirements :

â 3–5 years' experience in technical sales , preferably in valves and actuators

â Proven track record of B2B sales in the mining or industrial sectors

â Willingness and ability to travel across Southern Africa

â A relevant technical or business qualification (engineering background preferred)

â Based in or near the Eastrand

Job Experience & Skills Required :

• Strong understanding of valves, automation, and process systems
• Experience conducting research into client operations, identifying pain points, and tailoring solutions
• Skilled in delivering compelling presentations and proposals to technical and commercial stakeholders
• Ability to own the full sales process from research to deal close and after-sales engagement
• Business-savvy mindset with focus on value-driven, profitable sales
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer orientation
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple accounts across borders
