FINANCE MANAGER CA(SA) - R 1MILLION pa- FINTECH - CPT
Our client, a Leader in the Fintech Sector is looking for your financial leadership to turn clear ideas into measurable impact and lasting change.
Financial operations and compliance
Run daily accounting activities and ensure financial records meet applicable local and international standards.
Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close cycles and produce accurate, timely financial statements and management reports.
Oversee tax submissions and regulatory filings across jurisdictions, aiming to optimise the company’s tax position.
Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain strong internal controls to reduce financial and operational risk.
Cost allocation and margin insight
Design and implement cost-allocation methods that assign direct and indirect costs at a detailed level (for example, by unit or by customer).
Monitor and analyse profitability by product line, market and geography.
Surface low-performing products, channels or clients and recommend actions to improve margins or exit unprofitable activity.
Treasury and payments
Manage cash flow and working capital to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with banks, payment processors and other financial partners across relevant markets.
Oversee domestic and cross-border payment operations, prioritising security, speed and cost efficiency.
Capital sourcing and loan structuring
Evaluate and recommend funding options for growth, including bank loans, venture debt and asset financing for new product rollouts.
Lead negotiations with lenders and investors, managing pricing, collateral and repayment terms.
Reduce exposure to currency and rate volatility using appropriate financial instruments and hedging where needed.
Strategic finance and performance
Partner with senior leadership to evaluate market opportunities, build financial models and support investment decisions.
Define, monitor and report on KPIs that measure progress against growth and profitability targets.
Work with product and commercial teams to set pricing and commercial strategies that protect margins.
People, systems and capability
Recruit, coach and scale a finance team able to support multi-market operations and increasing complexity.
Implement scalable finance systems and analytical tools to improve reporting, forecasting and decision-making.
Promote continuous improvement and a culture that uses data to drive business choices.
