As the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for RMA Life, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the IT strategy in support of the growth Group Strategy.Continuously making sure that the organisation is up to date with the leading and latest technology.You will ensure an efficient and effective functioning of the Technology support and infrastructure to enable quality customer service and experience, including all the internal support systems.You will make sure that our operation excellence aspiration is supported by enabling the operational strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.You will also be responsible for establishing IT long-term solutions for operational challenges, making sure that the system availability is high.WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Development, Implementation and Maintenance of ICT Strategy
Develop, align and implement the short- and long-term strategic direction of the IT functionAlign the department to the vision, mission, and values of the organisation to achieve sustainable successImprove delivery of care and compassionate compensationGrow the organisation and to create shareholder valueDevelop and execute strategies to build the RMA brandDevelop, manage, and implement a competitive ICT strategyDelivering new features and technological solutions that add demonstrable value for internal clients as well and clients of the organizationEnsure IT strategy and cybersecurity alignment to RMA’s requirementsIdentify problems and opportunities and address them accordingly.Develop and maintain digital strategy
Develop and oversee the digital and information strategy of the group in line with digital transformation principles, information technology principles and business strategies to achieve its different business objectivesProvide strategic direction to the group and the team to drive the digital transformation agenda of the portfolio, delivering fit-for-purpose and future-fit solutionsDrive the creation of a digital enabled organisation, designed to innovate, scale and flexDrive the implementation of the digital strategy, operating model, IT architecture and IT servicesEnsure effective decision-making on strategic digital and IT matters, and providing strategic guidance and solutions that directs the organisation in a way that does not compromiseIdentify opportunities to leverage digital technology enablers to optimise business performance and increase efficienciesMeasure ROI on digital initiatives, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure we're investing in the right tools and resources. the integrity of the IT ecosystem.Enterprise and Business Architecture
Direct the creation and review of an enterprise capability strategy to support the strategic requirements RMA (identify business benefits of alternative strategies)Direct development of enterprise-wide architecture and processes which ensure that the strategic application of change is embedded in the management of the organizationEnsure compliance between business strategies, enterprise transformation activities and technology directions, setting strategies, policies, standards, and practices.Risk management and Regulatory compliance
Align IT risk management with organisation-wide risk managementInteract with senior management team to monitor and validate the organization’s compliance with information security policies; play a key role in defining these policiesEnsure compliance with applicable security requirements and standardsEnsure integrity and security of data and systems; direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan, as well as continually assess and provide guidance on cybersecurity threats and risks and providing appropriate mitigation options.Stakeholder Engagement
Forge and maintain strategic partnerships and relationships with internal and external clientsFoster effective communication and collaboration between different departments and provide regular updates to senior management on IT operational performanceWork collaboratively with other departments to ensure implementation of standard processes and proceduresEnsure that business is provided with continuous support and that there is ongoing adherence to processes.Cost management

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE?
Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering or business-related qualificationsPost graduate degree in Business, Digital Transformation, Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Strategy or related field of studyMBA preferred10 - 12 years' experience managing complex technology solutions, digital and process improvement5-7 years' experience within financial services environment would be an advantage5 years' experience managing and leading a digital teamProven track record of leading and executing successful digital transformation projectsExposure to agile methodology, technology architecture, integrating systems and providing technology services to multiple business partnersA deep understanding of Digital transformation, including a deep understanding of industry trends and new digital innovationsStakeholder ManagementKnowledge of business policies, processes and procedures, legal compliance.ICT jobs
