Job descriptionManages the key performance areas and result indicators associated with the maintenance of the Arboretum, nursery, irrigation, weed and pest control and tree maintenance for the Parks section to accomplish immediate, short- and long-term service delivery objectives. Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a National Diploma in Horticulture or related qualifications in facilities management Code B drivers’ license Supervisory skills Communication skills Computer literacy (Word, Excel) Ability to give attention to detail Fluent in at least two official languages of the Western Cape Knowledge of project management principles 5-8 years relevant experience Planning and organising Facility specific skills Workplace safety Coaching and mentoring Communication Service delivery orientation Action orientation Problem solving Agriculture / Agro-Allied jobs
