About the Role

We are seeking a Fundraising Officer who can combine passion for our mission with exceptional attention to detail and resilience under pressure.

As our Fundraising Officer, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all fundraising activities to ensure the financial sustainability of FCD’s programmes. This includes building and maintaining donor relationships, managing grant applications and reporting, and coordinating fundraising campaigns in collaboration with our Marketing team.

This role suits someone with 1–3 years’ fundraising experience, ideally within the non-profit or development sector, who enjoys juggling multiple priorities and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual fundraising plans and campaigns.
• Identify, cultivate, and retain donor relationships (corporate, foundation, and individual).
• Research and submit compelling grant applications and donor proposals.
• Track, report, and analyse fundraising performance and donor data.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Officer on campaigns and fundraising materials.
• Maintain accurate donor records and ensure timely donor reporting.
