Depot Manager - Boksburg

Depot Manager

Qualifications

Matric
Accounting Qualification would be an advantage

Requirements

3 - 5 Years' experience as Depot Manager within the technical manufacturing industry

Experience in managing annual operating budgets and investment expenditure budgets

Making final decisions on pricing strategy and delegate specific pricing authority

Negotiating and leading discussions with major suppliers

Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and an Accounting System

Duties

Monitor the development of the results of the company and carry out final responsibility for achieving these objectives.

Report on the financial results of the company.

Ensure that adequate organization structures, resources, plans, procedures, systems and controls are in place.

Ensure that the company conforms to the Statutory and Regulatory factors which the work environment including Safety, Health and Environmental issues.

Prepare together with the Sales Team a marketing and sales strategy / information related to the business and provide detailed analysis with necessary action to ensure a proactive response to market changes.

Optimize the use of Working Capital.

Generate a cash flow that meets the agreed targets and budgets.

Define the company’s strategic planning decisions and new business development initiatives.

Growing sales through existing and new customers and new markets.

Negotiating with existing, new suppliers and agencies.
