Job Purpose : To manage (end to end) the strategy; planning; organising; negotiating; staffing directing and controlling of all aspects of projects or programmes for a portfolio in ensuring the successful implementation of IT Projects and to realise the business cluster strategy. Provides expert advice and counsel to functional / and non functional user personnel and project teams on the most complex aspects of integration of logical groupings of technologies. To facilitate agreed solution and ensure the solution meets business requirements with minimal impact to the stability of the IT environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver all innovation and business as usual initiatives / work requests for the delivery team within agreed scope, budget and timelines
- Monitor and report on delivery progress / delays at Stand-Up ceremonies and other required / operational meetings
- Prepare necessary reports and dashboards - weekly and monthly
- Manage support and maintenance, application health and stability
- Identify areas of resource inefficiencies and promote optimisation through multi-skilling and addressing capacity gaps by reviewing and improving work processes
- Maintain effective relationships with vendors; manage vendor contracting, invoicing and payment processes for assets and teams under management
- Manage incidents / response time within SLA >

Manage system uptime maintained >99.5% across all assets in squads
Compliance and risk management - manage risks and audit findings to plan, ensure team compliance and policy acknowledgments are kept currentResource and capacity management for Innovation Projects and Business as UsualEnsure Development Plans in place for all members in each squad and status trackedImplement a coaching model per squad, cascade down levels; monthly coaching engagementsBuild a team culture of excellence, collaboration, inclusivity and competenceIdentify training, knowledge transfer and self-development opportunities per squadContribute to attainment of GT DEI and IP flip objectives through promotion, recruitment and conversion of DEI candidatesTechnical Knowledge

Formal accreditation in professional field where applicableExperience
Minimum Experience Level : +5 yrs relevant technical qualification (Computer Science, IT) / certification (Programming / IT). More than 10 years financial services / IT experience, more than 5-7 years management experience. Experience in Safe Agile, Technical Governance, PI Planning, Release and Change Management. Banking Industry Experience is a bonus.
