Senior Conveyancer

Minimum requirements :

• LLB Degree
• Admissions Certificate for attorney, conveyancer and notary
• Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Conveyancing Software - Software we use is Lexis Nexis and E4
• Must have ability to read and interpret legal and business correspondence
• Deal with client queries related to property registration
• Knowledge of conveyancing legal acronym and legal jargon is essential / In depth knowledge of property and conveyancing law / In depth knowledge of Sectional Title processes.
• Knowledge of legislative requirements as it relates to Conveyancing such as Contract law and Deeds processes
• Must have experience in managing Conveyancing Secretaries and other related resources
• Responsible for Property Registrations, Notary, Registrations
• Supervision - supervise the Conveyancing secretarial duties related to registration, lodgement, contract signature, local authorities and any legal related process with the property Registration. Authorising and checking of payments requested by Conveyancing secretaries
• Examination of Documents such as mortgage bonds, liens, judgements, easements, contracts and maps in order to verify properties legal descriptions and ownership
• Advising on the effects of contracts
• Preparing and Certifying of legal documents
• Knowledge of Lexis Convey / E4
• nCino (Docfox)
• Legalsuite Accounting Software
• Searchworks
• Storedoc
