Job descriptionHandle the full range of conveyancing matters, specifically in the residential Mortgage Bond environment. Draft and review legal documents and agreements. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and timelines. Maintain and update files accurately on LexisConvey / GhostConvey. Provide professional support and guidance to clients throughout the process. Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of the Conveyancing department. Proficiency in E4, WebConvey, LexisConvey, Windeed and LexisSign. Ability to mentor and manage Paralegals. Excellent drafting, reviewing and communication skills. Ability to manage files independently. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of basic numeracy and literacy skills. Knowledge of FICA. Strong attention to detail. Organisational skills.
Minimum Job Requirements :
- LLB Degree (with good academic results).
- Admitted Attorney & Conveyancer.
- Minimum 3 years post-admission experience, working as a Conveyancer, specifically in the Residential Mortgage Bond environment.
- Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and property law.
- Notary Public, a strong advantage.
